This rather obscure grape is grown predominantly in the Madiran provence in Southern France and in Uruguay, Argentina and Chile. We were able to tame its abundant tannins with judicious maceration times, blending with Merlot and cellering in one fill barrels for 15 months. 85% TANNAT, 15% MERLOT. 60 cases produced.
